Past Projects

Neumann Developments has been Project Managing developments since the company’s inception in the early 1980's. We have been responsible for preparation of feasibilities, negotiation of joint ventures and acquisitions, securing approvals, coordinating construction, marketing and disposal of product. Some of the projects we have been involved with include:

'The Lakes' - Park Residential Estate, Currumbin Valley

This once prime grazing land allotment of 45 hectares offers expansive park and lake setting along the newly created Aqua Promenade. The rural character has been retained and the land profiled to provide a 1.2 km road frontage for exclusive residences. Some 26 hectares has been returned as public open space including a scenic walkway along the creek and lake reserve.

Completed in March 2005 this rural development involved the creation of 28 residential lots and required the careful management of complex environmental issues. Referred to as "the jewel of the valley" and offering prestigious close-in acreage, the development was a finalist in the Queensland 2005 UDIA Awards for Excellence.

'Kalimna' -Park Residential Estate Tallebudgera Valley

The Kalimna Park project included rehabilitation of a quarry to create 40 park residential lots. This development was runner up in the parkland residential category at the QLD UDIA awards for excellence in 2004.

'Kunda Park' Industrial Estate, Sunshine Coast

Kunda Park involved the creation of 60 industrial lots 45 of which were the result of a joint venture. The site required extensive filling in an environmentally sensitive location requiring detailed engineering and extensive negotiation with Council and statutory authorities.

Currumbin Park Estate

Neumann Developments acquired a dairy farm at Currumbin some 25 years ago. That farm has since been developed into the thriving community known as Currumbin Waters.

The development involved creation of 1000 residential lots and 400 unit sites in 23 Stages. Many lots back onto parkland and crown land along the Queensland / New South Wales border. The Estate includes Currumbin Fair Shopping Centre and playing fields includes the home of the Alley-Gators Rugby Union and Community Club.

Construction of the final land development stage completed in 2007. The 10.6 Ha site known as Border North has approvals for medium density dwellings. The estate that is testimony to Neumann Developments ability to adequate plan and deliver estates that build communities.

Currumbin Industrial estate

Involved creation of 19 industrial lots adjacent to tidal waterways. Significant fill was required in conjunction with the management of acid sulfate soils and hydraulic issues on the site. These lots sold for unprecedented prices in the Currumbin area.

'Lakeland Heights' Residential Development

A joint venture comprising 80 small lot detached dwellings and a number of multi unit dwellings at Elanora.
